Severed in Vain is a newly formed melodic metalcore band based in Sweden. Our mission is to reignite the fire of the alternative scene — blending aggressive riffs with emotional depth, and combining modern metal production with raw, unfiltered energy.
Formed in 2025, the band consists of friends and passionate musicians united by a shared vision: to create something honest, heavy, and human. While our sound draws from the roots of the metalcore movement, our voice is our own — melodic, chaotic, vulnerable, and real.
We’re here to give a voice to the unheard. To create a space where pain becomes power. And to remind the world: the scene never died — it was just waiting.
